Hi! My name is Paulina and I am a creative team player, graphic designer and illustrator. I have experience with print and digital projects for branding, social media and products.
My professional experience includes working for a small creative agency, a foundation and a venture building company. I have also executed various freelance projects.
I'm passionate about all fields of design, but making illustrations is among my favorites. This section includes illustrations that were printed on hoodies, towels, posters, greeting cards, gift boxes, invitations, paper cups, hip bags, menus, tickets and stickers. Some of them were also published on social media.
Although nowadays we're more into the digital world, when it comes to prints – I'm all in. This section includes books that I designed, two of them also illustrated. How technology influences the modern world: a short study on augmented reality is my distinguished diploma project, printed in 25 unique copies.
In my opinion, experimenting is always a part of the design process. This section includes a series of photos made with a pinhole camera of my own making. While living in a world where most people have a camera in their smartphone, it is a refreshing experience to overcome several technical difficulties and put more manual work and effort into the process. The first photo (Polish flag) was also screen printed and ended up as framed wall art (photos available in section Silkscreen).
This section includes social media posts designed as a subtle collage with typography. They were executed to raise awareness and fight taboo concerning menstruation. I think that this topic, among many other issues linked to women and their rights, needs more public attention and understanding.
When it comes to manual techniques, screen printing is one of my favorite fields. It is often time-consuming, but makes every copy of a printed image unique, as you can never achieve the exact same print twice. The prints you see below were created based on a pinhole camera photo from Poland and two reflex camera photos from USA and Australia, both edited digitally before printing.
